The internet is my favorite frugal tool!
I just realized how much harder my frugal lifestyle would be w/o it. Just in the last 24 hours I have...
- aquired 5 grocery bags of tomatoes from my neighbor and no canning equipment... no problem, I found directions online for freezing tomatoes for up to 8 months, no special tools required!
- got a boxed angel food cake from my fil, he doesn't care for it so he gave it to us. Made the cake but had way too much... no problem, looked online that it can be frozen and toasted like frozen waffles!
- found several recipes for frugal meals that I know my family will love!
- and of course I always find great info here at the FV!
So, what is your favorite frugal resource? online or otherwise

It's mine too. It takes up a lot of my time and it's something I use a lot since I don't care to get out much.

My favorite frugal tools are the internet, the library and my mom. She is so tight that she can squeeze a nickle until the buffalo poops LOL. She's a great source of info and know how!

Ooooh! The library, the Internet and my friends. My friends include a bunch of older ladies on fixed income. Boy! Can they make a penny scream for mercy!

My very favorite is also the internet. Mainly because I can find so many like minded folks (they just don't seem to be many around me irl), I also enjoy the library

The internet first and foremost. I think I have learned the most frugal info on this very website. Also, my mom. She is a wealth of frugal knowledge.

Definitely the internet! Not only can I find a wealth of pertinent information, but I also get great bargains, and even free things!

I completely agree, the internet and the library, the two best things to lead a frugal life! I gotta admit Hi-Speed internet has made it even nice (watch videos, download itunes)
I just get so much information, look up reviews, book recommendations (then hold them online through the library) it is just fantastic!

The internet, thrifting/garage sales, discount stores like Dollar Tree and Big lot's. Great sites like this one!

I agree, the internet for sure!! After all...it has Frugal Village!

Also, I love it for e-mail...keeps the cost of communicating with friends and family MUCH lower... Not to mention being able to share photos with them without having bunches printed...just post 'em!

I agree - the internet is well worth what I pay for it.
and I LOVE DSL.
I pay $29.99 a month for my 3mb/s DSL. I also use it for my business and I can find anything and everything by searching online.
