Default Total score on boness/skinless chicken.

My dad and I went to Kroger today. I had no plans to buy anything, but he ended up running into an old friend and talking for 20 minutes.

I was bored and started looking around. I found boneless/skinless chicken breasts on sale for 99 cents/lb. I was excited and decided to stock up. I picked up 8 packages (~1lb each) for myself and 3 or 4 for my dad. I paid for my stuff and then he paid for his...both totals were really low. I checked the receipts...with my Kroger card, the chicken rang up for 12 and 13 cents each! The biggest package rang up for 22 cents!

I ended up getting 9, almost 10 lbs of chicken for around $3.

That is amazing. I don't see boneless skinless for under $3.79/lb here.

Wow! I saw air chilled boneless/skinless chicken yesterday at the store for 50% off but I couldn't carry it all home. I did manage to score 4kg worth of frozen boneless/skinless chicken breasts for $25.40 or $2.88/lb. I cooked some of it and it tastes just like the chicken you get from M&M Meat Shops. It's really juicy and is seasoned so you don't really need anything else with it.

When I first read that, I thought I had read wrong. They practically gave you that chicken for free. That is one for the record books. Good job!
