Electric bill FINALLY went down!
We moved last month. Have been in the new house a month, bigger house. Our electric bill for new house is $126.10. Compared to the $230.00 that was the old house, I am so happy!!!!!!!!

Newer construction with good insulation? Rock on!!
Sometimes I'd just like to gut this old monster (1940) and insulate her properly...If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Electric Rates
I just got my electric bill yesterday. Good news is I don't have to pay in September because I have enough money left. I have budget billing so I pay same amount every month. The bad news is my electric bill is going from $202 to $219 starting October. I've been line drying since March since April because my dryer is broken. That means my electric bill will really go up the sky! Please note that I will be putting the extra $202 into my dryer fund.

MIne went down from $200 to $163--what is that about?
Sure I watch it and I did run fans and not turn the air up so high but the bill that went down was JULY in TEXAS!!!!
My bill always is at its worse in August with it steadily going up each month.
But hey--I am very happy lol! That is just $40 I had budgeted I can move somewhere else. The math never lies, budget in INK!
