Default am glad we're frugal for an unfortunate reason

New here, I've posted several times.
I've had chronic nausea for 8 months. Stomach surgery. FINALLY got a diagnosis. I have gastroparesis. Basically my stomach doesn't empty into my small intestine well at all and the food sits in my stomach and rots (sorry TMI). Well there's no fast or easy remedy.
Just thinking how glad we've been frugal and paid off the house and only have about $20,000. total debt expected to be paid off in spring. My homeschooled DS starts high school Monday and I wouldn't even be able to get a job right now if I needed to! I get to stay being a SAHM and get myself better!!! Frugality at least gives me peace of mind right now.
Thanks for listening! I won't be on here when not feeling well( I kind of don't care about much when I'm nauseous! lol), but I will join in when I'm feeling okay!

I hope that the nausea subsides with the surgery they did! Let HS age DS do most of his own work right now, and catch up when you're feeling better...... Get well soon!
