    Default We're having a "Murphy's Law" week

We are having a major Murphy's Law week.

Our water line from the well to the house got a hole in it. We have the waterline on TOP of the driveway. We can't even drive all the way into the yard - can't drive over it. But at least we had water.

Friday DD took a shower. A few hours later, Dh and I were going to take showers and NO water would come out. Checked water line from well - no leaking. Checked sink in kitchen, it's ok. Hmmmm OK. So we now have to replace the tub faucet and shower. Went Saturday and got the parts to do that. Dh called FIL over to help. Got that fixed. We're still waiting on the caulking to dry before we can shower.

This morning - I went to the sink, turned it on and all of a sudden I am getting sprayed with water from the sink. What the heck?? OK I look at the sink. It's faucet has rusted thru on the bottom and now there are 2 places that water is coming from on there. UGGGGG. We we had to go find a new kitchen faucet. We could have gotten a new one with a sprayer (old one had a sprayer) but it was $25 more. We couldn't even afford the bathroom stuff NOR the new kitchen faucet, so we picked the cheapest one that we could find (without sprayer).

I had $206 saved for getting the kids up here, NOW I have had to dip into that. I hope to be able to get it back up soon.

I feel like Murphy is beating me on the head. I hope nothing else goes wrong. I am so frustrated.

We just had to replace the pipping to both bathroom sinks, They were the original 40 year old metal pipes--rusted through.

Now we have pvc and after making a mess trying tp fix it and spending good money we called in the plumber.

Good grief!! Let's hope the "bad things come in three's" saying is true for your sake so you can be done. How weird tho that they were all water related. Hope your week gets better.

I had a three day weekend like that last weekend! Every time we try to take a vacation, it turns into a National Lampoon's trip LOL!

Sending you some big hugs and I hope you find a way to build up the "kid" fund again!
