Smile OMG we got a "Atta Boy" from our bank!!

Ok just had to post this as it made me feel so good, we are refinancing our home loan ( with the same bank) when we brought our new house last yr the banks wouldnt lend us the amount on a normal home loan we had to get a low doc loan (higher interest rate) well since we got our inheritance and our frugal way of life we paid of over half the loan in 9 months. So we called our bank to refinance to a normal home loan with .5% cheaper interest rate. Anyway when he was typing in the figures he said ok you are borrowing 22%of the home value and I said is that bad? he laughed and said no most people borrow 95% - 110% of the house value!!!!!!! Then when he asked us if we had any car loans credit debt etc which we said no to, he said i have to tell you guys i wish my kids were as good with money as you two!!!! it was so nice to get a compliment from a man that deals with money and mortgages all day, jsut had to share it made my day!!

Awesome story - a lesson on how to achieve true prosperity!
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

That's great! You're doing wonderful! We used to get the double check, 'are those figures right?' quiz from bank officers too. It's a great feeling. Enjoy it as long as you can!
