The roofers are done! The roofers are done!
This marks the end of our home improvement projects for this year...with the exception of some foam insulation that needs to be covered with stucco... But that company won't get paid until that's finished...and they know it.
But I am so glad to have this all over and done with. We had a lot of work done on the property this year. Eavestroughing, basement windows, back door, roof, trees cut and pruned. Yep, that's a big enough hit. The total will ring in at about $15,000 for everything. Sigh... but it's done, and we won't leak anymore I'm told. Plus we finally have enough sun in the backyard to seriously think about raised beds for gardening...maybe next year... Maybe our patio container garden will do better too...

This thread is useless without pics.

Lets see your new top (on the house!)
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"
