Phooey! Everyone's In My Pocket Today!
1st Mistake: THINKING I'd have some extra money this week. Must learn not to THINK!
2nd Mistake: Going to the mailbox! Found a bill for the additional $120 auto insurance due, now that son bought a newer car. Must learn not to open mail!
3rd Mistake: Answering the phone! Heard husband ask how to pay the dentist $340 that overpriced dental insurance won't cover! Must learn not to answer phone!
4th Mistake: Opening the door to teenage daughter! Handed an order form for class ring of $181. Must learn not to open doors to teenagers!
Things are never so bad that they can't get worse LOL!!

Must be in the air! In one day I just got notice that the kids' school milk prices are jumping (wrote out a $16 check) two book orders (got each a $5 dollar book) it's school picture time again! (saw the minimum price of $24/package and said no!) and it's their school's big fundraiser time as well cookie dough sales which I know we will end up buying a tub or two ($14/tub) Ugh I'm going back to bed and pulling the covers over my head!

Gosh I am sorry everyone is having all these bills handed to them. I just had unexpected car repairs to the tune of almost $2000 so I can say I am with you all on this one. Does this ever end?

Sorry. I am with you. Not as in deep though...
We are trying to get rid of the suburban. It has been sitting for a few years and needs to go. He is guessing it will need $50 to get it running so we can sell it, if it will sell.
DH found tires for the jeep for $400. We had budgeted $600 but I wasn't expecting it for a while. Since he found them for such a great price, we bought them.
And then, on the way home from work, DH calls and says to come look for him if he isn't home in 45 minutes because his motorcycle sounds funny. The road he has to take home has some cell phone "holes" because of the hills and you can't get reception at all (hence the come look for him thing). He is out there now looking at it to see what might be wrong with it. I am dreading it though.Beak-1996, Toad-1998, and Q-1998

What's that old saying, "when it rains, it pour's!" Sounds like everyone is in the same boat, and its scary as the boat is leaking and I am hoping I can keep it from sinking. Those things that you haven't counted on just seems to be rolling in for everyone.
Hospital bill thought it was taken care of, $540,
Car is having a heating up problem, new part and what will it cost to have it put in? Unknown.
I have to hope that the month will get better. This really blows the budget early in the month.
Here is wishing that things get better for everyone!
Keep paddling everyone, we can't let this sink the boat!
