Arrow Pregnancy - As the World Turns

I thought that I might start a thread that will take me through whatever happens.

First off - I have 3 children (have been pregnant 4 times though). One (12yo girl) lives with me full time and the other 2 (7yo girl and 9 yo boy) live with their dad. I am 34 but will turn 35 next week on 9/23. I re-married last November to a younger man (11 years younger than me).

I took a pregnancy test yesterday and it came back +. I took one at about 3:45 am this morning and it came back +.

My plans - Mon am (tomorrow) I will be calling my regular dr to get another test and we'll go from there.

I thought it might be neat to carry you all thru this. With my other children, I didn't have much support then. Also dh (this one not the ex) just got hired for a job but hasn't started yet, so we're under alot of stress. The only income we have had is my direct sales business and with the economy being down, sales have been down, therefore my income hasn't been great.

I will post every day or every few days.

If tomorrow they say POSITIVE (it probably will cause the 2 here id and I KNOW I took them correctly) I will also ask for tips on preparing for this baby frugally.

LOL - I called the Doctor's office at 8 but they have Summer Hours and don't open until 8:30. I have another 10 minutes before they open, so I'm roaming around here.

I got really sick this AM. I'm wondering if it's nerves or pregnancy. I tend to not want to believe I'm pregnant until the Doctor says so.

Angelica (my 12 yo dd) is not too happy about this potential pregnancy. She says she doesn't wanna take care of the baby. I told her she wouldn't have to, that's what the mom is for. When her baby sister (Rebecca - 7 yo that lives with dad) was born, she wanted to do everything. She was a little mommy (she was 5 at the time). I let her help do some things. I told Angelica, the only thing I would need is for her to occasionally help me and maybe when the baby would be older to babysit and she would be paid. LOL She thought that might be ok. She's very mature for being only 12.

Anyway, Update more after I talk to the Dr. - then we will see if this thread will continue.

UPDATE: Called Dr office, only one Dr in there today. They aren't sure if they can see me today, possibly tomorrow. I am waiting on a phone call back.

Be sure to let us know if it is a + at the doctor's. All of us will help you out as much as we can with ideas. My ideas are 36 and 30 years old since that is my sons ages but they were frugal then and probably are more frugal now. I can't wait to hear your good news. Once your 12 year old sees that baby she will want to help you.

Office called back. I have an appointment for 10am tomorrow with my regular Dr - she just got back a few weeks ago from Maternity Leave. If there is a cancellation today, they will call back and I can come in and see the other Dr.

So, it'll be tomorrow at 10am.

I got sick this morning - there was nothing in my stomach though.

I am going to have to start taking better care of me. I do have Diabetes and Hypertension and wasn't doing everything I should. I am starting to now.

For breakfast today - not very hungry but ate a banana and some 1% milk that I mixed with chocolate syrup. I'm still nauseous. Not sure what we will have for lunch yet. It's probably going to be something with chicken cause that's what is thawed out. Supper will be a marinated pork loin and probably a flavored rice and some broccoli.

Thanks to all the well wishes. DH still hasn't gotten the phone call to start his job. I need them to call soon. His job is only temporary (until December) but he needs to get working so I don't have the stress of making sure the bills get paid with my business. Last month I only made about $250 profit and then $200 in child support. We have some bills past due. I try to not worry about it but feel like I have to because I feel it's all ON ME!

OK, sorry for complaining but I feel real .... well, complainy right now. AND I want to more.
