Default Wasn't sure where to put this

I found the neatest website for reusable bags, like for groceries, etc. It's www.simple-bags.com . The bags are cool & cheap! I think I'll buy a few for the grocery store. Now, if I can only rememeber to take them to the store with me! lol

I just had to LOL when I read the title on their page - The Bag People.

Anyway, I always forget to take my "green bags" in too.

I know, I LOL'd at the name, too! I tried to order a couple of bags this morning, and there seems to be something wrong with their order page. I e-mailed, so hopefully they'll get back to me soon.

Hellooo....$20.00 a bag is not cheap! You can make them yourself or pay someone for less than that!

I make my own tote bags from old blue jeans. Much cheaper...very sturdy. Any time I do pick up plastic bags from the grocery store (ie. forget my bags), I store them at home for garbage bags. In fact, recently DH asked me specifically to not use the cloth bags as we need more garbage bags.

I made mine from old t-shirts. They are great. If they get yucky, I just toss them in the washer machine. I am considering making some from some of my hubby's old work pants.

My Aunt saw one of my bags yesterday and was interested in them, so I am going to make a few for her.

Whole Foods had some nice nylon with a drawstring for $1.50.
I keep on in my pocketbook for any purchases.
For the groceries, I try to put them right back into the car after I unload.

Wow, very stylish! I can't afford $20 though. I got one from JC Penneys for $1.99 a few weeks ago. Think its call A Green Bag & has a nice design on it. Seems stronger than my Target shopping bag, but I use both often. Plus one grocery store gives .05 credit off your bill, imagine that being in a small town!

IMO, $20 is too expensive. Most grocery stores sell green bags for around $1 each.

Real Canadian Superstore sells their recycled cloth bags for .99 a piece. I also have the heavier plastic bags from there that were 3/.99 and a couple bags from when I shopped at M&M Meat Shops. I suffer from the same problem as everyone else:

    I keep forgetting them.

I also have green bins that I take with me. It'll come in handy this winter.

How I remember to have mine at the ready is this, after I unload my groceries, I put my reusable bags in the trunk of my car. That way they don't get left at home.

Our grocery store has them for 99 cents each...they aren't all cute like those...but you could get 20 for the same price!!

Well, call me stupid, lol, but I just ordered two of them! YAY!

I know I can get the other ones cheaper, but hey, I LIKE these. Maybe I'll actually use them because I like them. Believe me when I say I really don't splurge on much of anything, so I think I deserve them. Besides, I don't sew. lol And they are cute.............

ETA: I'll be using them for much more than groceries, so they'll get lots of use!
