Default What ya up to today?

So what's everyone up to today? It's nice and sunny here...too nice to be inside but here I sit. I worked this morning, had lunch with a friend, now I am doing laundry and deciding what else should be on my to-do list. Prolly gonna make up a big batch of biscuits and make some sausage biscuits for the rest of the week. Then I will start on supper. Or, I may just stay at FV for a while lol!

Getting ticked off at my washing machine. Seems like I'm going to have an expensive repair soon and I can't really afford a new one now. I've got the Maytag repair man scheduled for Oct. 1

ummm....too many things need to be done, and too many things I want to do. lol

I had to drive across the city to pick up Sparks and Brownies sashes for my girls for tmorrow - the summer order never came in so I had to go on the wait list, they called today...YAY! they'll have full uniforms for tomorrow!

there's a mountain of laundry that I managed to stall by putting the bleach load in first to soak. lol

DH took the day off of work today.

We took and picked DD up from school.

    I took a nap between 9:00 & 12:30.

He and DS filled the car up and picked some Chinese take-out up for lunch. He chose the lobster and shrimp for me. Ohhhh....it was soooo good.

We need o leave around 5:15 for DS's football practice. We should get home around 8:30 - 8:45 & then eat dinner.

Once everyone goes to bed (DD usually around 10:00 and DS around 11:30 - 12:00) I will do a little cleaning up before I go to bed, normally around 2:00.

Spent most of the day flicking between CNN, BNN, FP online, RBC and the FP stock challenge. An all news day.

Bought some bananas and miracle whip. Went shopping and was able to use a coupon at Fashion Bug. Bought some costume jewelry on sale for $5 a piece.

Came home and waited for GE repairman to fix microwave. Luckily didn't cost a thing. Long story, lets just say the squiky wheel does get things done. Otherwise would have cost $90 for them to come here. Microwave was $130. What is wrong with this picture.

Anyway, am starting another crochet project and am pleased with it so far. Will probably take a really long time to finish but it is keeping me busy. I think I will try knitting the other scarf I have yarn for. Hopefully it will be faster.

I worked today at my second job in a gift shop which involved dealing with lots of tourists and sitting online in between! Not a bad gig! I did get some paperwork done for my other job so I was productive! My DH made dinner and did the dishes and here I am sitting here... yeah I COULD do something but I feel like being lazy for a change!

Rainy, cloudy day. Have spent most of the day knitting a shawl I am making for my mother for Christmas.

Started out doing laundry. Then helped the kids with school work (we homeschool). Reorganized & cleaned pantry. Cooked dinner.
    Not too exciting.
