Buttons for bread! Just had to share:)
I just have to share this with my fellow frugal's. I had a box of odd junk I had to go through to see what could be thrown out sitting on my father-in-laws porch. One of our Amish neighbors saw a small pack of plain old buttons in it and offered me a loaf of fresh Amish made bread for them! My first taste of bartering was buttons for bread!

That is cool. The Amish are wonderful people. I shop at a few of their stores quite a bit for bulk things.
