So I go out to the mailbox....
and there is.....
water bill--$10 less than I budgeted~ GREAT!
The sales circulars, I took a gander but not anymore shopping in the budget~OK.
3, yep 3, credit card applications to WA MU of all places~ uh didn't they go bust and I absolutely refuse to do business with anyone who "pretends to know me and my credit but can't even get my named spelled right and besides I want another cc like a want a hole in the head!~BOOOOOO
A letter from the local Ford place--yes I can get a $40,000 loan for a FREAKING CAR!
Sheesh I only paid $58,000 for my 3 bedroom 2 bath brick house and I want a $40,000 CAR????
The mail either really disappoints or is halarious--I can't decide!
What next I wonder?
The math never lies, budget in INK!
Amount of Free items 2012 $391.33

Debt #2 12/31/12 CC $901.88

LOL! I know what you mean. Mine usually makes it in the front door, down the hall, and into the recycling box. Occasionally it warrants a trip upstairs to be shredded. Very occasionally it's actually worth reading.

Luckily, we've got a recycle bin right by the mailbox. Any junk mail that I don't want doesn't even come in the apartment!

Heheh - we laugh at all the credit offers we get. Well, I do. Ceashels is upset w/ me because, thanks to my brilliance PRE-DR, she actually has a credit score again. She had gotten hers to 0...
Ah well, its only 7 more years to get it back there.
If you could kick in the pants the person responsible for your problems, you wouldn't be able to sit for a month.
Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

Sounds like your mailbox is more profitable than mine. When I go to my mailbox, I find a gaping black hole that's missing any and all checks from my clients. Ah, the joys of being self employeed in a down economy.

I get nothing good in the mail! CC offers, bills, hateful collections letters, and approvals for car loans. Ugh.
One funny is that DH keeps getting stuff from AARp...He is only 31!!!"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."

We burn the junk mail in the wood stove. At least we get a tiny bit of heat from their mailings.
I know what you mean about waiting for checks - I have been waiting on a child support check since 9/15. Then they claim it was mailed on 9/24 - STILL NOT here and it's 10/3.

I agree about getting only CC offers or other shopping circulars these days. On that note GREAT on the water bill.... Keep up the awesome work!

Mail can be an odd mix can't it? I was thrilled to have no AC going as our electric went down $100 this month from August. Crazy!

Ah, the mail. Yesterday's mail brought a completely random $20 check from the university. I have no idea what it was for, perhaps some overpay on tuition or a fee reduction?
I'll be happy enough to take it, though!
