Over $100 in Quarters
With my change I added to my jars today I now have over $100 in quarters. Takes a bit but the change does add up!

It sure does. I have a brother-in-law who takes his change in once a year to the bank. He regularly has $700+ in change. I've never managed to get that much because I spend my change. But we do take ours in more frequently too...and usually find we have around $50...and we're not really trying.

Congratulations on a job well done!
I'm always amazed at how quickly your pocket change adds up."We fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen; For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."

Yup! Sure does add up! We have a jar we put our change in... When it starts piling up I take a handful with me to the grocery store and feed it into the U-Scan checkout....takes a few dollars off what would have been debited from our checking account each time.
By feeding it into the U-Scan we don't have to count/roll it...and we don't feed it into one of those auto-counting machines that keeps like 15%...Kace - married to Dh 12 years

Well done!! And hello to you. I am back after a 5 month break for some health issues that are now resloving.
I took my silver into the bank a few months back and had a little over 400.00 bucks and just yesterday I took a ziplock bag of pennies and I had a little over 23.00. Not to shabby.
It really does add up quickly and I dump all my change at the end of every week so that helps alot.

We keep several jars all over the house. It makes it easy to drop change in whenever you find it. Once in awhile I go around and combine them all into one big jar...turning that one in when it is nearly full...it helps out a lot.

Since I am back to waiting tables, I keep my change in a jar on the desk. I use that change to buy my cig's and what soda i am drinking. That way those things don't come out of the household money.

I just started keeping the change from my purse and wallet because my DF had started keeping the change he found doing laundry! He also finds dollar bills in jackets/purses/cabinets etc (of ours) and those go in the change jar as well!

We also have a change jar. I am looking for ideas on what to use the change for. I would like for it to be something special for the family or just the children. I appreciate any ideas. You guys usually have great ideas!
