Default Falling gas prices- How low are you?

Just wanted to check in on everyone's gas prices. I paid $2.71 a gallon this morning at the HEB grocery store around the corner from my house. I still can't believe it! Is anyone else seeing lower prices yet? I hope everyone is. It can't come a moment too soon for us. The transmission went out on my Buick about 3 weeks ago and it wasn't worth it to make any repairs. We are now down to one vehicle, our truck which gets about 12 mpg or so. I'm trying to cut back on my trips away from the house. WAY BACK! I'll be trying to keep myself to 3 or so trips a week. Maybe we can even make it on one tank a month.

Wow, you are well below the three dollar mark! I doubt we'll ever see such a low price here. I paid 3.26 yesterday noon at Sam's Club; today it had dropped to 3.19. There are probably lower prices in town but of the stations we passed Sam's was the lowest price I've seen so far.

In Phoenix, we're paying $3.15. Can't wait to see it hit under $3.

P.S. Would everyone please include your location with your prices so we can see how it's hitting the entire country. Thanks

Wow! We paid 3.29 tonight and were thrilled at that.

What state is that, by the way?

Last night it was $1.18/litre here in Saskatchewan, Canada...down by 20 cents. I don't get it? Why? Wasn't the excuse for raising the gas prices because it has a limited supply? Did someone all of a sudden discover more gas somewhere? The American gas processing plants aren't back on-line yet, are they?

It's about 2.85 here in our area of Iowa, though I saw one place at 2.74. Now I wish grocery prices would fall like that, too!
