Laughing at the new KFC commercial

I'm with Spikey on that one. I can't see my food before I eat it. Unless it's a fish. I imagine trying to go for a side of beef and meeting the cow before they butcher it....I don't think so. I can't even fathom being a homesteader and raising the animals yourself, getting to know them and love them....Then having them on your dinner table...Bleh.

We live in the suburbs of Tampa, Florida ... so while you can drive and find some farms, it's not like we're a "farming community" ... but there are always chickens at the KFC closest to my house. It's just ... strange to me.

Now that I think about it ... there are chickens at both of the KFC's closest to me. I know they don't butcher their own chickens, believe me, I've read enough PETA info to see that ... but what's up with the chickens around the buildings? Are other KFC's like that? They even tore down the REALLY old building and rebuilt it with a bigger parking lot ... and the chickens came back.

I made a seasoned chicken (Foster Farms) pasta, salad and veggies last week for about $10 and had leftovers.

That KFC meal woudln't even feed my two DSs! We would need TWO of those meals. Also, where are the veggies?
