Default Saved $135 with coupons. Yeah!!

I went to Krogers yesterday, and used $135 in coupons. My total bill that I owed was $235. That was quite a great deal. It took awhile but was worth it. DH couldn't believe it.

Wow! Exactly how were you able to do that (I am so jealous!), was there double coupons or something? Where do you find good coupons...I never seem to find ones for items that I am purchasing.

Good Job! You make me look like the newbie I am. Yesterday was the first time in years I went shopping with coupons. I saved $32.00. My total bill was $165. We don't have double coupons here and that makes me mad. But I did pretty good at Walgreens with store coupons and manufacturing coupons on the same items. I wasn't sure they would take them but they did.

It was actually fun to sit down with the sales flyers, coupons and plan my shopping trip. I even planned a route to save on gas. It took a while but I think it was worth it. I am starting a price book from that trip. I will do some shopping for meats at the commissary on Friday and compare to the sales.
