my saving deals today :D

I have always been a no name brand shopper, with food, and don't use coupons usually. Plus I never see coupons for fresh veggies, meat, flours, sugar ,eggs and such?

Anyways we have a new CVS sort of close to me.
I was given freebie/cheapie coupons in the mail for grand opening:
-$10 off $20 spent
-free CVS item less than $3
-25 4x6 prints free
-free liter bottle of coke
-free $25 gift card for moving a RX over
I got all of the above, then utilized their sales this week.
The sales also went along with the coupons in Sundays paper.
I got lots of TP, paper towels, Dasani waters. ( I don't buy/use paper towels so these will last me years LOL)

Then I went in Publix and bought some sale (BOGOF) items and got outta there quick.
Then Kroger has 10 for 10 campbells soups and
Buy 10 get $off, making the items all $1
Some of the items had extra FREE coupons attached for Hamburger Helper meals!
Pork and chicken was on sale too.
I am shocked that I got all this stuff, from 3 stores, for little $.
CVS $9
Publix $6
Kroger $40

I think I sort of see the coupon thing now.
A coupon alone is just a coupon, but combined with a sale, it can really work out cheaper than the no name brand.

Can you believe I almost threw this CVS flyer away?
I thought it was junk mail :O
Guess I will peek at junk mail a little closer now LOL.

Yes I am new to coupons because I thought generic was cheaper.
But now I see I can sometimes go cheaper than generic woo hoo!
Guess I will be getting the Sunday paper now ha?

I am going to search and see if you all have a coupon area here

Be prepared to get addicted to deals. It's amazing what kind of deals you can get combining coupons and sales. Sometimes you can get triple deals of coupons, sales, and rebates. Makes it so much fun!
