Default per person per address meaning?

What does it mean when a rebate says "one per person, per address"?

3M just sent me an email that said if I buy 2 3m products I will get $5 McDonalds in gift certificates.

Thanks if you know what this means

It means that in my house, where 5 people live, only one of us can do the rebate, and that person can only do it one time. I can't do it AND have dh do it as well.

    Thanks!
That's exactly what I was wondering because we have 5 family members also.

Do you think thats still a good deal for $5?

Personally I don't think its a good deal. I would get your sticky notes at the dollar store. JMO. $5 at McDonald's won't get you very far anyways ..

I think it means that each person at that address is eligible. I've responded to free sample offers like that before and just wrote in names of each of my family members and we each got one.

Yup, each person in that household is able to do 1 rebate, otherwise it will say 1 rebate per household or address.
