Feeling guilty....
Well ladies, it is nice and sunny here, it is a nice change for a rainy Vancouver, in BC. My daugher is coming to pick me up, for Thrift Shopping. I have a list with 48 items I think I need. I am not sure if you can call me frugal today, and I feel already guilty, but it is so tempting. I know I will spend money today, but my excuze is, that I didn't buy anything for a month, so I deserve a little splurge and really need all this items (not clothing), that why I prepared a list. Wish me luck! I will keep you posted of my treasure hunt at the Thrift shop and the amount I spent.

Well, if you find the things you need at a decent price, it is still frugal. Thrift store shopping is way better than paying full price.

Yep, if you are lucky you will find everything on your list for pennies on the $

I think it's wise to take a list of things your need while thrifting, and if it's not on the list you don't nee it. LOL

Don't feel guilty! How many people have you ever seen at the thrift store with a list before? It's very responsible and of course frugal! Hope you had luck finding what you need.

There are times you need to do something that helps you stay sane while trying to be tight frugal. I could see it being a problem if it wasn't a thrift store, but you're still being conscious even with feeling guilty about your trip. Don't beat yourself up over it because if you need it, and you can get it at a better price than buying it from retail, go ahead! Do yourself some good!

Don't feel guilty for shopping at the thrift store. You could have bought everything at a expensive store and waste your money on the same items.

Good Morning everyone.
Thank you for your support.
Here is my feedback about my trip to Thrift shop. Well, my total was $50.00 (I paid for my daughter's treasures (she a lot as well) and my grandson's toys. I found only 3 items which was on my list, (nice light fixture for the dinning room, canning jars, Christmas supplies, 6 brand new wreaths probably coming from Michaels), but I found losts of costume jewlery brand new, each piece still had a price tag of $30.00 and a few nice serving plates.
I am very happy, the wreaths I can add a glass vase in the middle with a candle in it, wrap in celophane and tada... here is another Cristmas present every woman would be happy.
I don't feel guilty anymore.
