Stupid Question

In your signature block when posting your bills and payments do you put the total bill first/then what is left (100/25) or what is left and what the original balance was (25/100)?

I don't know what others will say, but I personally don't think it matters. What matters is that you know what it means.

I think people put it different ways. i get confused reading some and can't tell what is paid and what is still left. I love reading signatures because it reveals so much of what people have been successful with. It spurs me on to accomplish my goals. I put my signature out there for all to see and for me because of this. I also put paid/owe so people know.

I don't know about others, but I usually post savings goals. I put the amount saved first, and the amount I want to save after.

If it's a spending goal, I post the amount spent first, and then the amount I have budgeted for the expense after.
