I work 2 jobs. One, a public college, I don't get a bonus. The second is for a tiny company that I have worked part time for the last 4 years. I got a $488 (???) bonus in my paycheck and when i got home from my in-laws, I found a card with $250 in AMEX gift cards!!!! (Non-taxable that way) I spent it on my 2 weeks of groceries. Very generous. The $250 I normally spend will go to pay off the credit cards.

No Holiday/Christmas Bonus for me. No gift or even a turkey, not for Thanksgiving either, and I work in a grocery store. I am just thankful to have a job these days, even at minimum wage.

DH doesn't get a "bonus" but he does get paid out his 40 hours of unused "sick leave" if he doesn't use 40 hours of it by the end of the yr! He got a raise this yr so it was a lot more than we thought it would be & it got put onto our new tv (flat screen ~ on sale!!! & WAY smaller than that huge hunk of tv we were able to get rid of!!! not a good thing to have a humungous tv in a tiny living room!) along with all of our other "christmas $$$ from his side of the family." (Usually it DOES go onto our debt, but THIS yr we went ahead & just "treated ourselves" free & clear! (b/c we got a new dvd player w/it I can now watch our wedding video!! )

My job doesn't give out bonuses but I eat lunch there for free during the time school is in session so what do I care? (I'm 1 of the cooks, this little "perk" helps with our budget soooooo much!)

Hubby doesn't get a bonus, but he gets a turkey at Thanksgiving and a ham at Christmas. They also give little things through out the year that are really nice. They have given bonuses in the past but we don't expect it anymore. Really, its just nice that we have jobs!

I did not get a bonus either. We did have a large Christmas party and the boss picked up the dinner tab. Super nice..

Nope, no bonus. This year, we had to pay $$ if we wanted to participate in the holiday luncheon.

Nope, nada. His company's fiscal year ends in March, so any bonuses would be given then. However, it's already been announced that there will be no raises of any kind or bonuses this year.

I am just thankful that he has a job knowing what some people are going through
