    Default Free Candles for Me!!!

So, I love candles. I love them, I love them, I love them. However, I don't buy as many as I would like because they can certainly be expensive. A friend of mine just recently started selling PartyLite candles and I hosted a party for her at my home tonight. When you host a party, you earn hostess credit and can get free candles up to a certain percent of what the people at your party ordered.

Are you ready? Just for having the party, because the people I invited ordered so much, I earned $358 in free PartyLite products! There are one or two actual pretty products that I am going to get, but for the rest, I am going to just stock up on the yummy smelling votives that I love to use all year long. If you aren't familiar with the products, you can check out the website at www.partylite.com (Not a plug, as I'm not a salesperson)

It may not have been a frugal party for my guests, but it certainly was for me! I appreciate them ordering and I'm also pleased that I was able to help my friend out with her new business.

Enjoy Impressive sales figure, especially in this economy. Do you know if your guests were buying gifts?

I hosted a party a few years ago, and I still have votive candles in my cabinet. I love them! Unfortunately, many of my friends don't really buy too much stuff or I would do another one. I have a friend that sells it.

    That's a great party.
I used to work at the Partylite main office. I worked there for a couple of years but left to raise my oldest.
There products are very nice but a little pricey for me. I used to get alot of free products when I work there.

I really like Partylite candles, but as a previous poster noted, they ain't cheap. Hosting a party is indeed the best way to get candles...same as hosting a Pampered Chef or Silpada party.

    Michelle,
I think they were buying just for themselves...no one mentioned any gifts. Although, in addition to my hostess credit, I got a free gift for hosting, and I'm giving it to my mom for Christmas, as it's a cute Christmas tree candle holder. I generally try to buy non-seasonal items so I can use them year round.

WTG Amy. I used to sell Home Interiors and it was always a great deal for the hostesses.

I just visited our little gift shop here in town that is closing down (for reasons other than the economy) and I bought several candles at 60% off. I'm candle happy too but not as much as you Enjoy your good smellin' candles.
