    Thumbs up We went out to dinner for $9!!!

    Dh & I went out to dinner tonight to celebrate our 8th anniversary (which was Tuesday, but we were broke lol). We went to our favorite restaurant...TGIFridays. We had:

    Appetizer: boneless chicken wings (shared)
    Caesar Salad (shared)
    Chicken Parmesan sliders & fries (dh)
    Jack Daniels Flat Iron steak & mashed potatoes (me)
    2 coffees

    We had a $25 gift certificate that we got with MyPoints points plus a $5 off $20 coupon we got in the mail for being part of their Stripes program. PLUS we now have 77 stripes...once you get to 100 stripes you get a coupon in your email for a free $8 appetizer

    Of course, we did tip the server $10...but even with that it was under $20 for a nice, sit down dinner

    Nice job! I joined the get more stripes program too and love those free appetizer coupons!

    (and from a waitress...good job on tipping on the cost before the coupons!!)

    Oh absolutely! I used to be a server and nothing sucked more than having to claim the full amount of the bill at the end of the night knowing the customer tipped based on the discount price!!
