    Question Freezing Sugar Cookie Dough?

Has anyone tried it? Will they be okay. I have too much and don't want it to go to waste. Thanks in advance

I freeze those tubes of Pillsbury cookie dough I load up on when they are free after coupon, and they freeze great- but this is from a cooking website:

Most cookie doughs freeze extremely well and can be kept frozen for up to 3 months. The most important thing to keep in mind is that the dough will absorb any odd odors present in your freezer if it's not properly wrapped and sealed. To prevent this smell-sponge effect-as well as freezer burn-wrap the dough securely twice.

So there you go. Freeze away.

Like the others have said, make sure you wrap the dough well, and it should be fine. I freeze my dough in logs, and it's just fine when I go to use it.
