Default YAY for frugal significant others!!!!

After the most recent round of illness in our house, we were rinsing out the empty (69 cent) Aldi's gatorade type bottles for recycling, and my DH got the idea to make himself some frozen bottles of iced tea to take when he is fishing instead of his usual purchase of (store brand) soda. He filled the bottles and they are in the freezer all ready to go. It feels so good when they get it and come up with their own money saving ideas!

Woo Hoo! I know how you feel!
My DBF made dinner last night from a 1/2 pack of pre-cooked chicken I got for $1.29 (mgr special) and a pack of generic spanish rice. He figured it cost him less than $1.50 for 2 good sized meals plus left overs! WTG! I could have made it for less from scratch, but DBF took it upon himself to make a great meal, quick and easy!

It makes it so much easier when there are two people with the same mindset. DW will come up with things I miss and vice versa. As a side note, I don't know what to think when you ladies seem surprised when the man in your life has a good idea. After all, they chose to be with you.
