Default I did so good yesterday!!!

Yesterday, I went to Homeland (I only ever go there for the loss leaders) & I got about 1/2 our groceries (including lots of stockpile!!!)... what should've cost me $108.53 only cost me... $67.03!!! this includes 6 boxes of cereal (2/$5) &a coupon ~ if you bought 2 special k boxes you got milk for $2.00 off ..any brand (& Homeland milk was already on sale for $2.88. So I essentially got 1 gal of milk for $0.88 ! I'll print the list as soon as I figure out what I did w/the reciept!

Thanks! I've never done that good at any store!!! & yesterday I "hit" several stores!)... Sams (actually, dh did this 1 for me~dogfood & such $27.xx), Homeland & Buy4Less (Where I only spent 63.xx). & I totally stayed under budget for the next 2 weeks! Including some great deals @ Homeland (used to be Alberton's)... you know those 10/$10's... even canned biscuits for $1 each (unfortunately, I didn't realize that the cashier didn't take off the coupon on the end of the can that said $1 off for 3 cans until after I got home from my day of shopping, ya think I can get that retroactively?). Also, a dzn large eggs (lmt 2) were 99 cents each!

So yeah, I'm stoked! I DID GREAT (at least for me! lol!)

Oh!!! & I forgot to tell you, that buy 4 less & the Daily Oklahoman (newspaper) were doing a promo yesterday (maybe today too for all I know) for getting the newspaper at a good discount... dh & I had been discussing getting it, well, I got the Sunday & the Wed's paper for $4/mo. for the next 6 months. That's more than 1/2 less than you normally pay!

God was truly blessing me all over the place yesterday!!!

    ok found reciept...

19 frozen best choice mixed veggies @ $1 ea.
6 jiffy corn muffin mix @ $.45 ea.
    1 canteloupe @ $.69/lb
    5 oranges for $.99/lb
2 dzn eggs for $.99 ea.
    1 gal skim milk for $2.88 + $2.00 off coupon = $.88
2 boxes Nestle hot choc. $1 ea
    5 Petite diced tomatoes @ $.75/can
9 canned biscuits for $1 ea.
(& should've gotten $1 off for each set of 3, will need to go get that retroactively)
2 lipton ckn broc rice packs @ $1 ea
    2 Special K Cereals BOGO
    2 Kashi Cereals @2/$5
    2 Post Raisin Bran @ 2/$5

For me, that is AWESOME!!! Between the sales & the savings card $41.35 is what I "saved" for shopping w/them this week using the sales & only 1 coupon ~ the one that was in their own paper!

ok, I'll stop now! lol! I'm getting there... I've been working hard to get to that "frugal pie in the sky" lol! ok really, I'll stop now! I just can't stop grinning!
