Default Frugal Find of the week

Our dryer has not worked for several months. Buying new was never even a consideration. Last Sunday night hubby and I purchased an almost new Whirlpool dryer that is Large Capacity and Heavy Duty. ~ For only $75. I love it! I dries two loads at a time and does a wonderful job. It was being sold by a family that took it for payment for some flooring work they had done. The lady that used it to pay them wanted to get rid of it anyway because it didn't match her washer and she wanted a matching set!?!?!?! Must be nice, huh? Oh well, it got me a super nice dryer at a super low price so I'm happy.

Anyone else find some great deals lately?

Well...my granny went into assisted living so last week we got her refrigerator which was lucky because our was soon to kick it. Now we find out we can have her microwave. Ours works, but the 1 and 6 buttons don't work, lol. And the "clock" button is also DOA so we have a blinking clock.

I'm so glad you asked! I got two of these dresses (one for each daughter for next Christmas) http://www.strasburgchildren.com/crsibi.html. They were $28.00 a piece instead of $170.00.

I also got a dress for DD's six month pictures and her first birthday party. They were less than $20.00 a piece. I got everything for around half the original price of the red silk.

Awesome deal on the dryer. I got some deals as Goody's going out of business sale on some clothing for myself. I rarely buy new clothing but at $4 and $5.00 I picked up a few for me. I also got another great buy at the Goodwill. I bought 11 pieces of Noritake Perspective Ruby Red Amberina Stemmed 6 Wine, 3 Water, and 2 Sherbert dishes Goblets c/1950 Japan in the honeycomb pattern $2.99 each but are worth on average $25.00 each. I plan on keeping them for now but if I get to needing any money I'll have no qualms in saling them on Ebay for a big profit. Woowhoo!! Ds also found some great buys to sale on Ebay at Goodwill and at a Pawn shop in town. He did good too.
