Default This is why I declutter....

I have been wanting to buy a waffle maker and just kept putting it off. I'm trying to clean out our kitchen, because it's rather small and honestly we don't need 3 or 4 spatulas. In cleaning out one cabinet what did I find, A WAFFLE MAKER! A nice bit of frugal decluttering. Bwahahahaha!

I know! I was sorting through a bunch of stuff left over from a garage sale we had a few years ago, getting ready to donate it to Goodwill. I had been shopping for some nice-sized bowls for popcorn but hadn't found any yet. Guess what I came across in my sorting! Two perfect sized bowls. Loved that. There have been other things too lately. It really does pay to go through things every now and then.

That's funny. There's things around here I know I have and I'd like to know where they are. I need to declutter too. Some things haven't been unpacked since our last move over 3 years ago.

Why not to "waffle" on the de-cluttering issue. I love it.

I'll be right over! I like mine with Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Pecans!

LOL, I have noticed this whilst going through my basement lately---two of something. It's kind of humbling and embarrassing. Shows how disorganized I am.

I just love it when that happens, I just found some great decorative bowls hiding in the back of a cupboard. Enjoy your waffles.

Ask and ye shall receive .........again. This morning we enjoyed the last of the Valentines Day waffles that had been located in a secret location in the freezer. Makes me wonder why I don't make them more often...

When we first moved into this house I put away all the kitchen stuff. As happens when you are in the middle of a move, you don't cook alot and subsist on sandwiches and other quick-to-fix foods and I had only used a toaster and a griddle and a small fry pan kept in the drawer under the range. A week or so later I was looking at a cabinet door and asked hubby what was in there??? He didn't know either. So we opened it up and peered in and low-and-behold, there was the cookware (LOL). It may have been a sign I needed to start cooking again.
