Price of flour?
Remember when the prices started going up?
I'm finding the price is back down. Not as low as it was, but within $1 for a 20kg bag.
Anyone else notice this?

hasn't changed that much here. I was watching the Ag channel on satellite, and they were talking about the drought conditions in the corn belt and the excess water in the wheat belt. So, you know all those foods will go up. I plan on stocking up some more on both and oatmeal.

$8.99/ 25# here too. Walmart price. I'll have to check out Costco next time I visit my sister. I'm planning to treat in the freezer for 3 days then break down into smaller packs to vacuum seal for my food storage plan. Anyone else do this?

I vacuum seal grains, flour, etc with my vacuum sealer but I have the jar attachment, so i seal it in mason jars. Love the gallon jars for this. My pantry looks so nice with rows of mason jars..lol.

I noticed the price of flour started dropping about 5 months ago, and is now pretty well down to what it was before the big panicked increase. No good sales though, just the same regular price. The opposite for pasta for some reason, the regular price is still high (although lower than last year) but the sale prices are back down to what they used to be.

I've actually seen more sales on flour lately, especially the sales that have 10kg bags for $5.98 (limit of one). If it's not that cheap, the next best sale has been $8.98 per 10kg (which is 22lbs).
