Default $66 for three bike helmets and a night light!

We took the entire family to the outlet mall today for some rollerblades. Sportchek was having a sale on them and I really wanted them, so DH suggested Sportchek because they're on sale all of the time. I was like, "Yeah sure, let's go!" and I was hoping to get a pair today for $80. I don't trust secondhand rollerblades because of how much wear and tear someone can put on them (bad bearings, wheels ground almost all the way through, broken straps, scrapes, etc).

I go to walk into the mall and notice that there's a new store next to Sportchek. Neat! They have all sorts of fitness stuff and the next thing I know, I look into Sportchek and they're going out of business there! The line in the store had to be all the way to the back (at least 50 people in line alone!) so we decided to go. We got to Sears and decided to look for a faucet. On the way, we find they have bicycle helmets (which the kids and I needed) and a night light for DS5. We get to the counter and lo and behold, it's Scratch and Save day! 10% off! For three helmets and a night light, we paid $66.

The outlet mall was really busy today too. It was nice to actually go to a mall that didn't charge me an arm and a leg for bike helmets and a night light.

It's a real thrill to be in the right place at the right time isn't it? Congrats.

Yeah you! Years ago I had a motorcycle. I needed a new helmut and it was $100+, we decided to wait. Except I had an accident, cracked my skull in 2 places. $$$$ worth of doctor, ambulance, etc. bills. We had to borrow the money from HFC. We paid it back early, but the $100+ would have been a LOT cheaper and easier!
