I believe that this is based on "survivalist" mentality. Meaning, that you may not have access to a heat source and so on. So this is food to get you through a major catastrophe so to speak. You are paying for the convenience, obviously, and the know-how that someone possess that you may not have. A stockpile is great but you must remember that you have to be able to cook or prepare those products. You have to ask yourself if you are preparing for shortages or if you are preparing "for the end times".
Just my opinion. And incidentally, I think it is too expensive.Mom to:
