    Default Summer bills?

We pay the utilities with my income. During summer I lose about 30% of it due to unpaid summer holidays.

I am thinking that when I get paid for June, I'll be paying up June, July and August. That we'll be covered and other than life insurance, no bills will need to come from my pay. It won't cut us short really, it'll just reduce our savings contribution for June, but will allow us to make one for July and August instead.

I don't like them to earn interest on our money, but that said, we will be less worried while on holidays on how to pay bills, since we are away and can't make deposits at that time. Things would be covered. Dh pay is direct deposit so the mortgage is no worries for us to pay, it's an auto debit as well, plus the savings account would cover it in case of a lost deposit.

I think it's a good idea. Didn't you do this before and was happy that you did?

    I'd done it by accident.

I'm thinking I'll do that, and continue to do so year round. I like the idea of no worry months..lol.

    Sounds like a good plan.
