Check register software
I need a check register software that is simple to use and will balance the checkbook without me pulling my hair out each month! LOL I have a very old quicken program that works on my very old windows 98 computer, but I thought there might be something more up to date. I don't need anything fancy, just a program that will balance a checkbook.
This is a great place to come for ideas and frugal living. Thanks for all your tips.

I don't know of any free ones but Microsoft Money is fairly basic and easy to use. You might check out Ebay for it....you would need to know if it would be compatable with your operating system first before you bought but a google search on the edition would do that for you.
