    LOL

    I get it

When my son was about 7 my father gave him for Christmas a five pack of duck tape and odd and end pieces of things all in a 5 gallon bucket. The boy was ecstatic. That was such a cool present. He made many a cool thing with that stuff.

Now I have to hide the tape or it is all gone. Maybe he needs another round of duct tape for Christmas.

    An embarrassing amount.

Here at our cabin, and also at home. Duct tape, too. For awhile everytime dh was in a hardware or something, he'd bring home tape, thinking we didn't have much. We have much NOW!

One. And I eke it out in the most frighteningly frugal fashion.
And I won't buy any more till I finish the roll--possibly in another year or two.

Seven in the house...... 8 in the storage shed, 4 in the shop, and probably close to a hundred in the old farmhouse. Most of them came from DH's aunt's estate. I don't think I will ever have to buy any ever again! I hardly use it!

Honestly...office supplies is one area we are out of control in this house due to poor organization.

Anyone else in this situation? How do you keep track of this stuff? Another bugaboo for us is staples. How many staples do you humanly need? I have 5 boxes of them!

What gets out of control at your house if you aren't careful? Is there something that just drives you nuts when you find several of it and there only needs to be one?

Honestly, DH and I are starting to give away office supplies on Full Circles.
Right there with you for the same reason. Pens pencils and paper is mine. Craft and sewing supplies same thing.

I get a little to excited when it comes to finding a good deal for the pantry. Right now I have enough soap, detergent, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, mouthwash, garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid, and razors to last a year or two. I have to stop myself from adding these items on my shopping list. LOL
I'm with you. I need a DO NOT BUY list; but I also feel if it doesn't go bad what difference does it make. Right now with the prices of everything going up; I got it cheaper on sale a year or 2 ago

Definitely tape. I only have girls and they've both left home. No good sending them to you! They wouldn't go if I tried! Unless perhaps you live on some warm tropical island somewhere....and I paid...

Actually talked to a friend today and she suggested I pack up all the extra office supplies and offer them to the church. I think I'll do that.
