Any Perfume Fans? Need Tips On Pricing Bottles for Sale
Hi, hoping to hear from perfume lovers and those who have sold perfumes on craigslist or similar. Am trying to kick debt to the curb and have been selling stuff on craigslist to help.
Would appreciate hearing about your pricing and how you let people test the scents, etc. I was thinking a cotton swab for the non-sprayer bottles? BTW, I'm selling local only to avoid shipping and all that.
I have a bunch of either gently used or only opened/unused perfumes from the '80s & 90's. Stored in a dark closet, all smell great still to my nose.
Here's a blog article about the joys of older perfumes-Perfume Article
Full sizes, mostly mainstream perfume- about 13 bottles.
i.e. Escada Margarita discontinued
About a dozen mini perfumes. Unopened.
And the rare Emma by Laura Ashley (Saw a sold out decant half oz for $200.)
one or two other rare ones.
Thanks very much for reading and any tips you can offer!
