Another part of the frugal me emerged today.
I had to go to the store today and get some stuff to last the rest of the week. The total?
$48.47
The beauty of spending that much is that well, I didn't. How?
Two gift cards, one for $25 and the other for $8.56...
Superbucks coupons for $2.17, $0.51 and $4.43
Total?
$10.47!
I got a roast, 4lbs of stewing beef, a 1/2 gallon of regular milk, a 1/2 gallon of soy milk, a Red Curry Chicken microwave meal, a 10lb bag of potatoes, a bulk package of swiss cheese and a package of turkey breast.
Then I went outside to the pop machine and spent money from my change jar on a Coke Zero to drink.
God, I feel awesome!Wife to DH since 10/31/2002!

It feels so great because while I was doing it, I felt no shame at all! If I was younger, I probably would have. I didn't care and I would have kept on going too if I had more coupons.

You are awesome!! and an inspiration to us all!!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.
