    Default I just gotta share...

That it's nice when you have enough in your eme fund to help others! This past week, my bff & her fiance' went thru some tough things (on top of things that have been just nuts already that had wiped them out of their own eme fund!) & their brakes & rotars on their brand new Town & country (2008 ~ apparently warranty does not cover it even though it's only got 20,000 miles on it!), PLUS her fiance's grandfather died in Massacheusettes (we all live in Oklahoma). Because we've been so diligent w/building our eme fund, we were able to help them out... & pay for not only getting their new brakes & rotars, but also to get him a round trip air ticket. Without breaking a sweat! Now that's what I'm talking about! Being able to bless others with what we've been blessed with!

ps... right after doing all that, we found out (later that day) that we are getting a substantial inheritance coming our way (part we already have now & part we are still waiting on... Isn't God just awesome!!!).
Waiting is teaching me to lean on Jesus that much harder!!!

That's really wonderful and you will be blessed for blessing them.
Our grandaughter's husband is in the landscaping business and is also a fireman. They just had their third baby and things are tight as dgd is a stay at home Mom. We agreed on a price for the work he would do. We had mentioned in the past that he could have some fire wood by cutting down a few trees as they are getting thick. Well when he came to do the work he asked if he could get some firewood in exchange for the work. I tole him we would pay him anyway as we had told him he could do it. Well, he kept refusing the money and finally told him he was refusing a blessing for us and he finally took. I know we have a blessing coming our way and we got to help out family. Maybe next time we won't be able to pay. So you have a blessing coming your way too.

Thanks, however, I think I get the better end of the friendship! She's an awesome friend herself!
