    Default Clothes: not too bad

    What I purchased from January:

    • trousers (sale)
    • flats (Yoox)
    • bra (eBay)
    • sun hat
    • Nike sport trousers (sale)

Not so bad! I can't believe how much stuff I used to buy not so long ago! Lots of impulse buyings and I was never satisfied - and now I am.

That's great! I have been really bad about buying whatever strikes my fancy lately. Not good for the budget.
Good job on becoming more aware of your buying habits! I think I might have to challenge myself for the summer. I definitely have enough tanks and shorts to not buy anything else!

That's a great small list. DH's is similarly short: 2 shirts, 1 pair of pants. Mine: nothing yet. I blame it more on laziness than anything else.

That's a great list! I went shopping at the thrift store this spring and spent $24 on clothes. I've lost 11 lbs. since then and things don't fit anymore. it's a nice problem to have. But I'm going to either have to start sewing or visit the thrift store again before fall.

    My list:
    2 camis
4 pairs lacy undies - torture to wear as they don't stay put
2 suits in smaller size to round out my incentive collection (lite - convertable to summer wear by altering sleeves)

    Thanks, people!

Unfortunately here thrifty stores almost don't exist. I'd love to find some real bargains.

    yard sale hoodie
    yard sale top ds
    yard sale jeans dd
    online sale 20 pairs undies

    online sale 2 bikinis
    3 pr boxers

What part of the EU are you in? In the eastern half, DH says they were there but maybe not western Europe.

I will be making my "must have" list soon, for getting ready to go back to work in Sept. when school starts. I make my list every year. I go through my closet and dresser and make sure everything is stain free and still fits then I get rid of the too worn out stuff and replace, bras, panties, knee-his, white tank top, dress pants, etc. I usually start school in capris because of the heat, which I am now watching the sales for these things.
I won't get any more new things unless the sale is rock bottom, or for Christmas, whichever comes first.
