How did I do?
My parents have gone away and so I am in charge of feeding my brother, my sister and for myself.
I have made a meal plan for while there gone. This is it;
-Porkchops with veggies.
-Venison slow cooker roast.
-Hamburger helper.
-Chicken Stir Fry
-Chicken Quesodilla's.
-Ham with Veggies.
I made the meal plan to use as much of the food we had in the house. So all I needed to buy was potatoes, onions, pound of hamburger, chicken, and ham.
I ended up spending $18.78 on the hamburger, chicken, potatoes and onions. Along with Juice, chips, milk and a thing of wonton soup.
All I need to buy now is the ham. There's a sale on it tomorrow.
Now I was quite pleased with my purchases, but was wondering of what you all thought.
Does is it sound like I made some good deals, or could I have found some better ones?
Sorry kinda new at this.Cass

I think you did great! Working meals out to use up what's already in the house was a wonderful idea because you spent very little on what else was needed. Excellent job!

Did you know that a 4 year student paying $20,000/year who finances their education graduates with over $103,000 in debt to start? But a student who works and pays cash and takes 6 years to graduate ends with $6,300 in their pocket! So much for "getting a head start by financing!"

I thought about this actually, cause I was feeling a little guilty that there was no junk food haha. But there is a frozen pizza, chicken fingers and fries in our freezer. Lots of freezies and I'll be making cookies a little bit later.
I think that should make up for it haha.Cass
