    Default Way to go COSTCO!

I haven't been shopping much at Costco as I've been going strong on going organic. But I went in. Somethings I can't afford organic. WELL. I am in the freezer section..... AND THEY HAVE ORGANIC PRODUCE in their freezer! And it's only 30¢ more for a 2.5 kg size. (5 lbs) so it's like 6¢/lb more expensive. THAT is easy to swallow. THen I found organic pasta, organic sauces. There is more and more there!

So I did a decent shop. $160 today. They didn't have lasagna noodles and I didn't want a huge thing of cottage cheese. SO I need to add another $10 to that. BUT, about $120 of what I purchase will be enough to do my week 1 menu 2 to 3 times! These are dry goods or frozen that is portioned out. So next week will likely be another high week, then the next 2 or three weeks will be really low weeks.

But WAY TO GO! The prices on the organics were really really reasonable. Gotta love that!

Costco has really helped us in the food allergy dept. lately. They have fruit roll ups with now HFCS! Yeppers none, no corn or rice product in them! I have found them NO WHERE ELSE! My son has a corn & rice allergy and some snacks/treats can be tricky for him sometimes.

Yes, I've seen a huge up tick in Costco's organics over the last 9-12 months or so.

I shop Costco at least a couple times a month and absolutely LOVE it! The challenge for me is that I'll go in there planning to spend maybe $100, but like a couple weeks ago I spent almost $500! It's easy to get carried away in there!

We have Costco and Sams memberships. They carry such different products. I love Costco's organics and they beat my health co-op most the time. Their cloths are awesome as DH and I buy our work clothes from them.

I wish we had a Costco in this area. We use Sam's for our bulk items and meat, but Costco has much better stuff. Plus, they treat their employees better.
