Does anyone have a source for cheap microfiber towels?
I'm trying to use more natural cleaners around the house, including homemade cleaners (so much cheaper!). I read somewhere that microfiber towels are the best for cleaning glass and are great to use on floors with a Swiffer. Does anyone have a source where I can get these cheaply? I've done a Google search and looked on Ebay, but I'll bet someone here knows a way to get them for a lower price. Thanks so much!

I get my cloths from the auto department at walmart. You will love them. I use vinger and water in a spray bottle on my floors with the microfiber cloths.

Aren't they like a couple bucks at Target or Wal-mart?
I personally hate these things, I can not stand the way they feel on my hands, it's like creepy crawlies all over my body from just touching it when it comes our of the dryer. (My partner uses them all the time, but I can't stand them)
PS - Don't use any fabric softner on them at all, not in the wash or in the dryer, they will lose their effectivness over time as the fabric softners coats the fibers.

Like homemaker66, I bought a bundle of them in the automotive department, and divided the package for a number of uses, including cleaning. They carry several sizes - up to bath towel size.
If you have small children, microfiber towels would save you a lot of towels in the laundry, as an alternative use for them. The small towels will dry quickly between uses; and since they are so absorbent, a small towel may be all you need.
If you aren't aware of the care of microfiber towels, there are some things you may want to be aware of so they last a long time....
-Don't use bleach on them.
-Don't wash them with other fabrics that are "fuzzy" because they will imbed the fuzz in the fibers.
-Don't use fabric softener (liquid or sheets) with microfiber towels. It causes the towels to be less effective.
You may find the information in this link helpful....

~The Dollar Tree sells them, although I don't know how they compare against big store microfiber towels.
I hate the way microfiber feels too so I don't use them.
I made dusting cloths out of flannel and swiffer covers out of fleece. No special laundering required.

Would you mind telling me how you made the covers? I have a TON of fleece stuck up in the top of my closet that I'd like to find a use for.
I don't mind the way the microfiber feels. To me it just feels very, very soft. Or maybe it's just the towels I've touched feel good and there are some nasty ones out there, too.

Yep I agree with all the others I get mine from automotive section at walmart $5.00 for a 6-8 pack and they come in 2 colors white and blue I use blue for dust and dirty stuff and the white for glass and cleaner stuff.
I also make my own cleaner half vinigar and half water and use a essental oil cleaner (includes orange oil, lemon oil and tea tree oil) and put a few drops of that in the spray bottle and use that to clean everything in my house and we have been healthier and everything is squeeky clean...

I got mine on sale at Walgreen's in the auto department. . . I use them for cleaning, and I used one pack for the inner parts of cloth diapers (covered them well, so they'd not irritate any delicate bottoms)
