I'm in Florida so not snowed in but have lived in Ohio during blizzards with and without electric. Me, I'd curl up in bed and read or be on computer. TV maybe if we had it. If the electric is on tho probably nothing much would be different.
Bank of America is THE godfather of Hell with Wells Fargo running neck and neck. When the world ends the only things that will be left are cockroaches, Walmart, Wells Fargo and Bank of America. Not necessarily in that order. The order remains to be seen.

life is always good when you have flushing toilets and electricity!! Being snowed in is fun under the right conditions!!
Travel light. The baggage of the past can only hold you back.

If the electricity is on, I'd be on the computer for a while. We don't have TV, but we might watch a video.
We always have books on hand and we love to read. DW usually has at least a dozen library books in the house, and we have lots of our own books that we can read.
As a volunteer firefighter, I can't afford to stay snowed in. So, one of my priorities is to shovel the car out of the driveway. Hopefully, I have left it parked out by the road end of the driveway, so I don't have to shovel quite so much. I still have to shovel a walkway to the car. Then, I have to install the tire chains and try to get to the firehall to help chain up the trucks.
Then, we have a couple of hundred feet of driveway to clear. It'll melt faster it it has been shovelled. Because the driveway is steep, it is impassable as long as there is any snow or ice on it. Once the snowplow comes by, I have to clear the end of the driveway again.
We also need a walkway shoveled to the woodshed so we can keep the house heated. We actually have two weeks' worth of wood stored in the basement, but we don't like it to get too low.
We usually shovel another walkway to the garage/workshop so I can continue to wrok on whatever my current project is, and another one to the generator shed in case the power goes out.
If there is nothing else left to shovel, DW will clear pathways for the deer to get around. They have a hard time in winter weather, so we feed them, but they need to be able to get to the food without burning too many calories.

I usually bake -- lots! Or read that book I've been too busy to read.
If you want children to keep their feet on the ground, put some responsibility on their shoulders. ~Abigail Van Buren

I read, cook, bake. Sometimes I like to daydream about being snowed in. I could sew, clean or reorganize too. The kids are playing w/ our new Wii. The only thing I need to do is shovel for the dogs to get out. Sleeping is prob. my favorite though. Start the machines and wander back to bed.

Oh YEAH!!! I loved that part of last year - when we had FIVE FEET of snow. It was at this point that I just had to call the boy scouts to come out and dig me out. They were fantastic! All GREAT kids - I made sure I kept them supplied with Gatorade!
Knock on wood - so far, I haven't had to shovel this year. But on El Nino years we get light snow.

I think it's fun being snowed in because it doesn't happen much. Although tonight it's a blizzard out there and it was a long drive home and not sure how the morning will be.
I love to play board games with the family and the wii or computor. That's what I enjoy or maybe a good movie.

We love board games, card games, the Wii, we always have a huge supply of books from the library, as well as DVD's from the library. We make popcorn and hot chocolate, and we also do crafts. Sometimes we just snuggle up and talk, too.
And, let's not forget that if we're snowed in, the kids are outside playing in the snow!

I was snowed in without power, and found myself so busy collecting firewood to keep warm, melting snow to get water, and boiling water to try to keep dishes clean, cook meals, etc, that I never found myself bored and wondering what to do!

When snowed in, I'm like Keith - Must. Dig. Way. Out.

But seriously...I either work or relax.
I get caught up on chores b/c I can't go out - laundry, cleaning etc Sometimes I declutter/purge. Sometimes I'll feel Betty Crocker'ish as well
OR if I'm in lazy mode - surf the web, play online games/PS2/Nintendo DS etc or read with a huge mug of tea curled up with my fuzzy blankie. Sometimes I get a chance to call friends and get caught up
All depends on mood.

Snowed in here too. We are watching tv, movies and playing board games. No one is rushing about or trying to get any where. DH is working on the drive way but that is all we're doing.
