Towels, washclothes, dish towels, dish rags: weekly
    Sheets: twice a month
    rags: after each use
    Socks/underwear/hose: after each use
    Bras: every other use
Sweaters: End of season unless it gets dirty and always wear something under it
Blankets: 2-3 times a year unless it gets dirty
Rugs: twice a year max unless it gets dirty (never run thru dryer)

I can usually wear work clothes and casual wear twice. If I sweated in it, it gets washed. Gym clothing gets hung back up to dry and worn twice. Yard work clothes/outside workout wear usually gets worn only once.

Interesting.......am amazed at the 'one use' bath towels.

My nephew not only had to have 2 bath towels, one for face and hair - one for body, but he would only use each one time.

My hands towels are changed out about every other day but the rest is a one week thing - towels, sheets, pillowcases.

The blankets are about every three months or sooner if I have been 'lounging' on them.

    Quilts are twice a year........generally.

My dogs are not allowed on my bed - but their bedding gets changed weekly or every other week, depending on how the weather is outside!

May seem wasteful to some, but I have a keen sense of smell and I cannot take the smell of testosterone, animal dander, and the enviroment that clothing picks up.I don't like reusing a towel that I wiped my feet, rump, or girly parts with. I don't care if it's just washed or not. Thank Goodness for the invention of the washing machine!

I find this whole conversation fasinating - it's amazing how different we all are, yet in so many ways, we're all the same! before I answer, I'll first admit that I in NO way keep track of this type of thing - so it's my best guess.

bath towels:3-4 uses, or they start to smell stale, or I need it to clean up a mess & it's better to use a dirty towel than pull one out of the closet.
wash cloths: 3-4 uses, same rule applies as towels, but I'll usually take my washcloth & clean up the bathroom with it before I toss it in the laundry.
kitchen towels: when they get dirty - sometimes daily, sometimes a few days, all depends on how long they last w/out getting dirty -
sheets: always seems to be after all the other laundry is caught up & the laundry room is empty!
jeans: depends on who wore them & where & how long - if I take a shower, go to the store, come home, take them off, I'll put them back to wear again - if I worked in them, they go to the laundry
undies, socks, shirts: seriously, do you really want to know this? what if I answered weekly? would anyone say anything? LOLOLOL - no, seriously, my undies can't walk by themselves - I toss them in the laundry daily. but I will reuse a bra multiple times. last time I checked, my boobies don't really get dirty.
    pajamas: 2-3 times
sweaters/hoodies: 2 or so times for a sweater if I don't wear it for very long, but if I wear it all day, I'll toss it in the laundry. My kids wear hoodies, so I wash them if they wear them all day - if they only wear a hoodie to get to school, then take it off, I'll wash it when it's soiled.

when I bathe the dogs, I'll grab whatever bath towels are hanging before I'll grab clean ones out of the closet. I figure the dogs really don't care.

Once on the towels, as recommended by my doctor. I have very sensitive skin, eczema, very prone to rashes and irritations, and I do not want to risk bacterial infections.

    Underwear once.

Jeans maybe a second day if I'm just working around the house, but once for other clothing items.

Weekly washing of all bedding. (I am very allergic to dust mites.)

    Rugs and curtains as needed.

I do not view any of this as wasteful.

    bath towels: weekly
    wash cloths: 2-3 uses
    kitchen towels/dish rags: 2-3 uses
    sheets: weekly
    jeans: after wearing several times
    undies, socks, shirts: 1 use
    night shirts: 1-2 use(s)
    sweaters/hoodies: depending
    Tennis shoes: you wash these?
Bathroom rugs: every two weeks or so

My opinion on the towel thing... I am clean when I get out of the shower. The towels get hung immediately and out here on the edge of the desert, the lack of humidity dries the towels very fast so no odor from dampness either.
    Blankets, comforters: depends on usage

We're pretty much the same as your set-up...except sheets are every 2 weeks. Oh, and we do cloth napkins and those are usually just one use.

I use 2 bath towels a week---change them out on Wed. and Sat.

    A fresh washcloth every day.

I have lots of throw rugs and door mats and they are washed once a week due to my furbabies.

    Dog blankets----washed every week.

Pants and jeans---usually I try to get 2 wears out of them unless it's a really hot day, then only 1 wear.

Fresh dish towels every day---sometimes 2 or 3 a day, depending on how much I'm working in the kitchen.

My sofa slipcover and chair throws are washed whenever they get dirty---depends on how much we are lounging in the living room.
