What frugal things do you STOP doing when guests visit

It really depends upon who the guests are. Normally it is just the ILs and I don't change anything for them. MIL will complain no matter where it is set. We did have a visitor with a baby not too long ago and we did warm the house up then - mostly because the guest room can get pretty icy.

In the summer I will turn on the air and pull a long sleeved shirt on. We don't really keep it hot for frugal reasons, we just like it that way but we will drop it a few degrees for guests.

The most expensive change I do is to turn on the main fan in our heat/ac unit. Scented laundry products really stink up the house and get everyone's allergy/asthma worked up so we keep the air moving - hot or cold.

I always have to adjust the heat when people come over. My grandkids are fine with it cool but not cold, so it goes up some. Some other people need it so warm that I can't sleep. I try not to have them over often.
I. also, tend to buy more food and snacks for company. That part can be fun for me to be more adventurous with my menus.

In the winter the temp in the house will go up by 3F. In the summer we do not use A/C so suffer along guests!

Usually way more adventurous with our food choices

Flush the toilet every time....

I hate that name too! My husband refuses to use it though, so I don't have to specifically put any TP out for guests. I do have to remember to flush though! I've forgotten a few times, oops

My 4 month old niece (and her parents) came to stay with us for a night and we had to turn the heat WAY up for her. I didn't even know our house could get that warm!

Other than that, we don't really change anything.
