I love great deals!
While shopping for some stuff for my son's birthday party yesterday, I found a clearance basket at our grocery store. In it, I found a normally $29.95 Midland weather radio for $2.00! (We can use it when we go camping) Once I got to the check-out counter, the kid checking my groceries commented on what a great deal it was and that he was going to grab one once he got off of work a few minutes later.
Anyone else find any great deals this week?~ Michelle

Wow that is one heck of a deal on your radio!
I guess to find deals you have to go shopping, I'm trying to stay out of them right now.Pine trees, with their needles pointing up to heaven, represent everlasting light and life.

I try to stay out of the stores, but had to go to Walmart to get a prescription filled. While walking around I found a Fajita kit which consisted of a cast iron skillet, 5 oz hot sauce and 2 spice blend mixes for $2.25.
No where near as good as your radio though.

Congrats of a frugal and useful find!! I'm with the others - haven't been out shopping much so haven't found goodies!! However, I am certainly willing to find great deals the next time I shop

I stoppd in at the Salvation Army thrift store today and all of their kids clothes were 49 cents.I spent $6.00 and got mt great granddaughter 11nice pieces of clothing and a really nice pair of pj's. Most were for her to wear this summer. They had a lot to choose from but I was in a hurry and couldn't look at everything. Still, I was real happy with what I found.

Sounds like some great deals.
I bought a buch of boxes of xmas cards for 90% off at Kroger. That made them .50-.90 a box. Got 3 plus size new turtlenecks for $5.97 each and had a $2.00 off coupon. $17.91-2.=15.97/3 +tx. = $5.33+tx. each. (plus size is expensive).

I found Yankee Candles in 'Christmas Treats' scent at Kohl's today -- Originally $22; marked down to $6.50, and I had a 30% off coupon. So, about $4.50 apiece.
I got 4 for my gift stash, and several smaller ones for me.2012 Knitting in progress
