What is your average telephone bill?
Mine is running around $100 per month. I've got to get it down much lower.
How about you?

Ours is around $60 per month. I would like to lower this to about $40 a month.

Now that we don't have long distance the basic coverage is give or take $29. We bought an AT&T long distance card at Sam's so each minute is like three cents. I really like it this way. What I'm very upset about is that Verizon has a monopoly in our area. We like Southwestern Bell but so far they're not in our area. I hope someday they'll make they're way through here.
We used to pay about $21 or $22 for basic service. I miss that. Of course, we don't have call waiting or anything else. With Verizon we have to pay $1 for just having touch tone. Man! I wish I had a choice in phone companies.

Since getting the 2nd phone line it's about $85/month.before that it was around $55-$60. I don't have a long distance carrier. We have area calling and if we need to make long distance calls,we use the prepaid calling cards (from Sam's).

We have 2 phone lines and it averages around 85.00 each month. I wish it was cheaper, but my mom is long distance and I can talk to her for hours. DH's family is long distance too.

The bill for our 2 lines is $45.xx. My long distance bill varies anywhere from $4 to $18 depending on the calls I make. The town I work in is a local call, everywhere else on the planet is long distance. Why is local long distance more expensive than distant long distance?
I went to lowermybills.com and signed up for Accxx long distance. I have been very happy with their service, and no one can beat their rates.

Basic service is around $20 a month, long distance depends on how many calls we make. All of our family is long distance so we do make a few calls a month, usually around another $20.
Now that I'm working my Mom can call me at work as it's a 1-800 number

Our phone bill averages about $45 including long distance. I also have a cell phone at $40 and then I have onstar in the van and as soon as my contract with the cell phone is over, I'll get a cheaper plan, just so my boys have a phone when they are out. I worry about them too much. I'll use the onstar, you pay for the minutes you use. It's not too bad.
