Salt?

I just had a thought a few minutes ago. We have put salt powder (ice cream salt and kosher salt in the blender to make a powder) on the carpets to try and safely get rid of the fleas we have (seems to be working for us). Anyways I was wondering if it would be cheaper to buy boxes of ice cream salt or kosher salt and turn it into a powder or to keep buying table salt to use in recipes?

I have never heard of using salt. Years ago when I had a dog, I gave her a monthly pill and that worked. Suggestion-always empty your bag after vacuuming. Good Luck-fleas are awful to get rid of.

Thanks. We are wondering if it would be cheaper to put kosher salt in a blender and make salt powder for recipes and at the table instead of buying iodized salt?
