We were spending a ton on cell phones for the 3 of us and the internet thing. It was almost $300 a month, we would call and ask about lowering it but it really did not lower it much. So we shut off the phones are are now with Straight Talk through Walmart. Dh and I pay $30 each for 1000 min, 1000 text and 30mb internet. I am able to do email, facebook and other things online with it. On the package it says it does not roll over time but it has for us.
We love Straight talk, get the same kind of service we were getting with Verizon. We had a prepaid phone from Verizon we let DS use, we get the $15 one and pay the $10 a month for unlimited text cause that is what he uses it for, he does not talk on the phone. We bought the cheapest phones they had, has no camera and very simple, I would love to get a different phone with camera but it is fine for now.

We use pure talk. We love it. It is prepaid. You can get unlimited text and talk for 48.00 mth . It is really good. We just pay 10.00 mth for our phones. as we went with the flex plan. 101 min for 10.00 mth and if you go over it moves to the 20 mth. We are not on our phones a lot. They play of at&t towers. we like them.

Just wondering if its essential for your job to use the blackberry & work emails? Are you not able to pop back into your office to check them? Personally - I'd not use my own personal cell for work unless I was getting an allowance or reimbursed monthly for it. Are you able to ask for money from the company? Prove that its effective with your job and has helped you improve/do better since using it?
I hope you find a plan that suits your budget & needs.2012: The Year Of The Purge!

We use Net 10. $15/month for 150 minutes, I think. And you can buy more at 10 cents/ minute, prepaid. We're not big phone users, and the minutes accumulate if you don't use all of them, but if you don't pay $15 per month, the phone number is deactivated.
