Default Neat article: Cheapskate Next Door

This was a nicely written article on being a "cheapskate"...really more of a simple-living/frugal lifestyle. The author interviewed sounds really down to earth and has some good info. It's going on my library book list for sure!

That all seems spot on. Can relate to what the article says about Vegetarians that I've got to know.

Going on my list too. Thank you.

'In the 1980s, three-quarters of household items were purchased to replace something that was broken or worn out. Today that's less than 25 percent.'

How sad we as a society have lost that common sense that you don't replace something til, well, it needs replacing. It IS funny to see how 'thrift shopping' is in now, when 10 years ago you'd barely tell a soul your jeans were $2 at Salvation Army- now you can brag about the find!

That's the first one I've read in a long time on the subject that I liked all the way through.

    Very good article!

I'm considering reading it, but my reading list is sooo long already. Maybe.
